Introduction
We are always looking for Teacher-librarians to help at our growing schools.
If you are interested in coming over for at least a year (compulsory for consideration) then you need to have the following qualities:
-
You will possess a love for working with children as well as a willingness to help a fast growing school that is educating the poorest children in Tanzania.
-
You will need to be patient and tolerant as you will be living and working at the school with other volunteer staff from various cultures and with a variety of personalities. There is dust, dirt and disease everywhere, so it can be very challenging to live here. Hence, you will need to be able to cope with these conditions in a cheerful way....day in and day out.
-
Working here offers huge personal rewards as the school itself is challenging the children of Tanzania to be well educated and thus improve the future for them and their families. This is an opportunity to be a part of that.
